A perfect sounding plan

The problem lies in one’s ego of having a well-planned path,

Smile on his face,

Calmness in his head,

Arrogance of finally being able to make a perfect sounding plan,

Having all the certainty to reach it,

Until he realizes that the plan is not his creation but of his mind and its societal conditionings.

Commitment

Committing externally to where you wish to go can be extremely useful,

As the nature of the mind is extremely unstable, and it makes you unstable, it makes you forget who you are, what you like to do, what you want to be with, and what you want to wish for.

Committing externally is a measure by which the unstable mind can be stabilised for the particular things one wishes to engage in.

We are deeply social animals; we like to be consistent; we dislike loss aversion,

External commitment, especially if done with money, can help you tap your mind.

Improving vs transforming

Improving,

Becoming a bit better,

Are for the ones who are certain of their death to be far away.

When real transformation occurs, nothing is left undone.

And it is for the one who has no certainty of even tomorrow,

Thus he engages himself in everything he wishes for

Right at this moment.

Value

Humans will pick cures instead of prevention any day.

Picking in actual terms and not what they say they will pick.

Intellectually, they will pick prevention

But many people dying out of preventive diseases every year are proof that

Living

One wakes up,

His body and mind move towards something,

Something natural, and beautiful, comes from within,

Alarm clocks become irrelevant,

To do’s become obsolete,

Motivation looks crap,

Hard work feels joke,

In that moment of the drive,

One witness that he is ‘Living’.

Teacher and learning

No teacher can make you learn.

It’s the restlessness within,

That makes you learn almost everything.

That learning can’t be prescribed.

That learning can’t happen with a fixed syllabus,

Or by following a particular prescribed plan,

Or by reading a particular book.

It will only come when it is desired like oxygen.

Authentic possibility

People, groups, organisations, institutions,

Robs you of your authentic possibility

By idealising an illusion,

You believe that illusion

And dream of achieving that illusion,

Completely neglecting the possibilities which are authentic to you,

And are right in front of you,

Seeking an expression from within.

Birth of aspirations

Becoming and wanting ‘to be like’,

Starts when a near and dear one comes,

And celebrate a particular activity of someone.

The activity was neutral,

The celebration made it glossy and glorious.

This glossiness gives birth to ‘Becoming that’

In the mind which seeks attention and appreciation,

The ego itself, which cannot see others above itself,

That’s how the poisonous status game starts.

Why do you maintain a second self?

Who you are and who you are in front of others are two different beings.

Those others can be anyone, be it strangers or neighbors or as close as friends and parents.

You know both of your faces, the true one and the masked one.

But they know only who you are in front of them. As it is masked and manufactured, it requires efforts to maintain it. Its maintenance is costly and painful.
