People betray each other because they betray themselves
Whenever they get the chance.
Why would they not betray you if they get the chance?
They betray their values every day,
They betray their family members every day,
They betray their work every day,
They betray their own plans every day,
How can they not betray you?
Betrayal is not something wrong or new to a person
Who betrays himself every day.
It’s a norm, it’s the order of the day.
If one is not true to himself,
How can he be true to anyone else?
In order to understand why they are not true to themselves, or to everybody else
One needs to understand the nature of the human mind.
A deep and clear understanding of the human mind
will take away your expectations of them being true
To anybody,
Be it them or others.
Then you will understand
They are not running themselves
Their minds are running them.
