One never gets to relax,
His life moves from one fire to the next,
Long days at the office, one after another,
One weekend to the next,
One vacation to the next,
But he never feels relaxed,
He might think that he got to rest after a long day at the office
But something inside of him
Never feel relaxed.
This life that we got,
Starts feeling like a job,
A job that never ends,
A job where the closing bell never rings,
A job where 6 PM never comes,
And smart ones used to call this ‘Life’,
As they are smart and clever, it must be right,
Isn’t it?
And according to them,
“As this is Life,
One shouldn’t relax,
One can’t relax,
Otherwise, you will be the one left behind,
Somebody will work harder than you,
You will lose the ship.”
And much more motivational trash.
I would ask
Can’t you sit alone?
One day,
Just one day,
In the dark of your room,
In the corner of the park,
In the silence of the rising sun,
Away from people,
And situations,
And vacations,
And long office days,
And weekends,
And ask who is that,
Who never feels relaxed?
What is that he wants?
What is that which will give him ultimate relaxation?
In seeking,
you might find something,
which you never did,
You didn’t know it exist,
That may be the day
When for the first time
you will feel
Relaxed.
